The short answer

We are based here, not visiting.

Premiere Movers is based in Peachtree City and handles residential, apartment and commercial moves across Fayette County. Local moves are priced hourly with a two hour weekday minimum and a written estimate before booking. We plan truck parking, cart-path access and the carry to your door when quoting, so the estimate reflects the property rather than just its address.

What should your moving estimate include?

Start with the service you need: residential moving, apartment moving or commercial moving. Add packing help if you want the crew to prepare items as well as move them. Describe both addresses and the access at each one so the written estimate covers the actual job.

Moving in Peachtree City

Peachtree City was incorporated in 1959 as a planned community and it still moves like one. The town is organized into five villages, Aberdeen, Braelinn, Glenloch, Kedron and Wilksmoor, rather than a single grid, and more than 100 miles of paved cart paths run behind and between neighborhoods instead of alongside the roads. Golf carts have been road legal here since 1974. It is a genuinely pleasant place to live and a genuinely confusing place to navigate a twenty six foot truck for the first time.

Housing runs from established village homes on wooded lots through to newer builds, with a large share of properties backing onto green space or a cart path rather than a road. That is the detail that matters on move day: the front of the house is not always the side a truck can reach.

What is different here

Cart paths and access

Many Peachtree City properties have a cart path at the rear and a narrow residential street at the front. Trucks stage on the street, which can mean a longer carry than the driveway suggests. We plan the approach when we quote rather than discovering it that morning.

Village layouts and HOA rules

Several villages have their own covenants about parking, hours and where a truck may stand. Where an association needs notice, we would rather give it a week early than have a crew turned around at a gate.

Mature trees and tight turns

The tree canopy that makes the town attractive also makes some cul de sacs difficult for a full size truck. Where access is genuinely tight we bring a smaller vehicle and shuttle, which is slower but far better than a damaged limb or a scraped truck.

Moving in Peachtree City, answered

Are you actually based in Peachtree City?

Yes. Our office is at 401 Westpark Ct #200 in Peachtree City, which is why Fayette County work makes up so much of what we do. It also means no travel charge from another metro for local jobs here.

Can you handle a move in a village with HOA parking restrictions?

Regularly. Tell us the village and the association when you book. Where notice or a permit is required we handle it ahead of the date so the crew is not held at the entrance.
